The Turtle Top Universal Bit features a unique double jointed design inspired by the anatomy of the Box turtle. With an optimized alignment of the mouthpiece surfaces to the tongue and palate, this bit minimizes palate pressure and prevents the horse's tongue from pushing up above the link. The innovative Neue Schule Flex concept ensures a controlled co-alignment between the mouthpiece and the sensitive surfaces of the equine mouth. This results in parallel co-alignment of the Turtle Top dome and the equine palate, providing a secure and comfortable fit. The FlexZ Universal cheek offers a variety of rein options, including the option for a curb strap. The gently curved cannons are aligned over the tongue and held in place by the Turtle Top, making it ideal for horses who tend to chomp or chew on the bit. By keeping the mouthpiece centered and arched over the tongue, the Turtle Top with Flex helps prevent tongue evasions and encourages consistent contact for a soft and effective ride.

Orders placed before 12 Noon are despatched the same day for in-stock items when paid by MasterCard, Visa, Delta Laser or Switch. Standard service 3 - 5 working days. Orders placed and paid by cheque will be delayed by six working days.
Most orders are despatched in 24 hours, however, at peak times or when stock is limited delays may occur. At such times, please allow 28 days for delivery . You will be advised of any expected delays at the time of ordering.
It is important that a signatory is available to sign for the consignment at the advised delivery address only. Courier companies may make additional charges for second attempt deliveries or may require the addressee to collect from their local depot. If a signatory is not available at your usual address please consider an alternative delivery address where a representative for yourself is available to sign, or designate your workplace as your preferred delivery location. Please note parcels that are returned to Holmestead Saddlery where a signature could not be obtained, and have not been collected from the courier's depot within seven days, will be subject to a £15.00 couriers charge.
