Omega Sand Xpell is made up of pure psyllium husk and linseed, a powerful duo for sustaining healthy digestion and condition. Psyllium, a plant high in dietary fibre, has strong links with managing the impact of sand colic, helping equines naturally pass uncomfortable build-ups of sand and debris from the bowels.
Sand and debris can accumulate in the bowel when horses and ponies graze sandy fields and on very short grass. Grains of debris travel through the body and collect in the intestine, which leads to poor digestive health and discomfort. Ingestion of sand is sometimes unavoidable; therefore, psyllium is a useful feed bucket addition to stimulate and support the gentle movement of unwanted debris out of the body.
While psyllium is a key component of Omega Sand Xpell, this supplement also contains linseed. High in healthy fats, fatty acids and a great source of high-soluble fibre, it effectively supports coat health and a strong topline. Complementing psyllium, it provides additional fibre and much needed conditioning support to equines whose digestive systems may be compromised by sand and debris.

Orders placed before 12 Noon are despatched the same day for in-stock items when paid by MasterCard, Visa, Delta Laser or Switch. Standard service 3 - 5 working days. Orders placed and paid by cheque will be delayed by six working days.
Most orders are despatched in 24 hours, however, at peak times or when stock is limited delays may occur. At such times, please allow 28 days for delivery . You will be advised of any expected delays at the time of ordering.
It is important that a signatory is available to sign for the consignment at the advised delivery address only. Courier companies may make additional charges for second attempt deliveries or may require the addressee to collect from their local depot. If a signatory is not available at your usual address please consider an alternative delivery address where a representative for yourself is available to sign, or designate your workplace as your preferred delivery location. Please note parcels that are returned to Holmestead Saddlery where a signature could not be obtained, and have not been collected from the courier's depot within seven days, will be subject to a £15.00 couriers charge.
